PlateVanish systems are designed exclusively for off-road use only: car shows, track events, and photo shoots. A license plate flipper is a motorized device that rotates your license plate 180 degrees using an electric hinge mechanism, activated by a remote control from up to 50 metres away. PlateVanish electric license plate flippers are built for car shows, photo shoots, and off-road/private-property use. They mount to your existing plate bolt holes and plug into a 12V cigarette lighter.

A blackout license plate cover creates a dark remote-controlled visual effect without a sliding curtain or rotating flipper mechanism. It is ideal for show cars, track builds, vehicle displays, private-property setups and automotive photography where a clean mechanical look matters.

Vanish plates (also called stealth plates, disappearing license plates, or plate hiders) refer to any remote-controlled system that covers or conceals a license plate on demand. PlateVanish offers five vanish plate technologies: motorized curtains, electric plate flippers, blackout covers, PDLC foggers, and retractable hideaway systems. All are remote-activated from up to 50 metres and designed for car shows, car meets, off-road use, and automotive photography.

A plate curtain slides a black panel over the plate area. A plate flipper rotates the plate using a motorized hinge, which requires more rear clearance. A blackout plate creates a dark electronic effect. A plate fogger uses PDLC film for a clear/frosted visual switch. All five systems are remote-controlled and built for car shows, car meets, track days, photo shoots and private-property displays.

Every PlateVanish kit includes exact frame dimensions on the product page. The curtain and flipper systems are designed for standard USA and Canada front or rear license plates (300mm x 150mm / 12" x 6"). Compatible with most makes and models, though slight modifications may be needed for some vehicles with rear cameras or tight bumper designs. Most customers complete installation in 15 to 25 minutes. Mount the frame to your existing plate bolt holes, run the wire to the control box, and plug into your 12V cigarette lighter. Some vehicles with tight bumpers, rear cameras or unusual plate recesses may need minor routing adjustments.

Every PlateVanish kit includes a 1-year warranty from the date of receipt, covering eligible motor failures and mechanical defects. If your unit develops a fault that is not the result of misuse or user error, contact support so the team can review the issue.
