A license plate flipper is a motorized device that rotates your license plate 180° using an electric hinge mechanism, activated by a remote control from up to 50 metres away. When flipped, the back of the plate faces outward, covering the visible plate face. PlateVanish electric license plate flippers deploy in approximately 2 seconds and are built for car shows, photo shoots, and off-road use. They mount to your existing plate bolt holes and plug into a 12V cigarette lighter. No permanent modifications required.

A blackout license plate cover uses an LCD or PDLC panel that switches electronically from transparent to fully opaque. Instantly, silently, no moving parts. The PlateVanish blackout plate cover activates via remote control in under one second and is IP65-rated waterproof. It's the most discreet plate cover system available, ideal for show cars, track builds, and automotive photography where a clean, mechanical aesthetic is important.

A blackout plate uses an LCD panel that switches from transparent to fully opaque electronically. A plate fogger creates a visual distortion over the plate using a PDLC privacy film. Every PlateVanish kit includes exact frame dimensions on the product page. The curtain and flipper systems are designed for standard USA and Canada front or rear license plates (300mm x 150mm / 12" x 6"). Compatible with most makes and models, though slight modifications may be needed for some vehicles with rear cameras or tight bumper designs.
